CBRE ranked the Washington D.C. metro area as the third best area for tech talent in their 2021 report.

CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate services and investments, publishes their annual Scoring Tech Talent report to serve as a resource for decision-making and success in building tech talent teams to fulfill critical business and innovation objectives in the years ahead.

In their most recent report, released July 2021, CBRE lists our metro area – including Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia, as the 3rd best area for tech talent. The DC Metro area ranks well in the report due to the number of tech graduates from the market, having the 5th highest wages for software developers in the U.S. and having the most tech diverse market in the U.S. with over 32% of tech workers being female.
