Arlington, VA Named Best Place To Live In Virginia

Arlington, Virginia was just ranked the #1 in the “2018 Best Places to Live in Virginia” list by Niche.com, a website which provides reviews and insights into neighborhoods.

Arlington, VA ranked #1 out of over 218 other cities in the study. According to their website, Niche.com, the “rankings and grades are calculated using a series of steps to ensure statistical rigor and useful guidance in deciding where to live.” You can read more about the ranking method on their website here: https://www.niche.com/places-to-live/rankings/methodology/.

Niche.com also mentioned that for 2018, they introduced a new factor: Walkability. They state walkability “Captures how easy it is to get around a place, taking into account commuting patterns, population density, and the number of amenities nearby.”
