Celebrate Phoenix Bikes’ 15th birthday and help raise funds for their youth programs…

Phoenix Bikes is an Arlington nonprofit that uniquely combines youth education programs with a full-service professional bike shop and retail store. On Thursday, April 28th, they are gathering at Port City Brewing Company to celebrate their 15th birthday and raise funds for their youth programs.

Their youth programs are 100% free-of-charge and teach resourcefulness, build grit and determination and provide alternative ways of learning. Programs include Earn-a-Bike, Saturday Bike Rides and joining their junior race team, Team Phoenix.

From Phoenix Bikes: “Through these programs, youth in 6th-12th grade–many from underserved or underprivileged communities–can connect with the opportunity to learn bike mechanics and riding safety. They also provide an after-school community for students, and enable them to experience group rides, overnight bike camping trips, and racing regardless of income level.”

Chill out under sparkling lights at picnic tables catching up with old friends, check out a few of our youth’s hard-earned bikes, and help us raise funds for Phoenix Bikes during our paddle raise. Funds raised during our paddle raise and ticket sales will go to making sure that our youth programs stay 100% free.”
