National Walking Day 2017

National Walking Day takes place April 5, 2017. Among the many organizations promoting the event are Arlington Transportation Partners, WalkArlington and Arlington County’s Public Health Division. WalkArlington, a division of Arlington County Commuter Services (ACCS), is asking everyone to join in their “1 Billion Steps Challenge:”
Pit stops for the walk include:
- Ballston | The Nature Conservancy Building: 4245 N Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22203
- Columbia Pike | Department of Human Services, Sequoia Plaza: 2100 Washington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22204
- Crystal City | Crystal City Water Park: 1750 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA 22202
- Rosslyn | Central Place: 1800 N Lynn Street, Arlington, VA 22209
To help with your routes, Arlington Walking Maps (which we’ve previously discussed here) are available to download for Ballston, Columbia Pike, Crystal City and Rosslyn.
