This building was developed in a joint venture with The Shooshan Company and TMW out of Atlanta representing a consortium of German pension funds. The project was built by Omni Construction, completed in 1999 and was 100% leased upon its completion to Systems Planning Corporation (SPC), Strategic Analysis and GW University.
The Shooshan Company’s first undertaking back in 1986. Upon entering into a joint-venture agreement with the current landowner, the Shooshan Company submitted a site plan for the future re-development of these two properties in December of 2014. Liberty Center is especially proud to be the home of Arlington County’s first and only Sweetgreen. This was the very last retail space remaining in the Liberty Center North mixed-use development, which at lease signing stared at an empty WMATA bus parking lot.
